The demand of processed water is increasing keeping in view the increasing contamination in the potable water. Thus this water is although once is a natural resource but today has become an essential commodity and is being issued on vending basis. The unwanted consumption cum wastage will in-turn will result in revenue loss directly and indirectly by means of energy bills, cost of production and increased cost of consumables.
For pharmaceutical, clinical and certain hygienic manufacturing practices just processed water is not enough but as well marinating and storing it a hygienic conditions needs extra precautions following stringent norms. This kind of water is termed as pure water, which is not only fluid and is more or less utilized judiciously as in the case of mineral oils dispensing. A close monitoring of this water is required to see that the consumption from user points is not exceeding the plant generation capacity.

It is to see that the discharged effluent from the sewage line is clarified from solid waste, solids in suspension after primary and secondary levels of treatment and is being utilized after proper treatment for selected utility applications like plantation. This effluent carries irregular pH, and other impurities which will be having a adverse effect on environment if left untreated.
